Terpenes
On their own, terpenes are the chemical properties that give plants their unique aroma and taste. Terpenes are made up of many different compounds and can be found in all plants. They occur naturally within plants and are an important part of CBD38™ education because of how they interact with CBD38™.
Cannabinoids and terpenes are team players that work together to enhance each other and promote wellness. Terpenes can help cannabinoids become more effective and more compatible with the body. They allow for better absorption through the cannabinoid receptors in the endocannabinoid system. The theory known as the entourage effect says that cannabinoids and terpenes work better when used in conjunction with one another than on their own.
